Payment Methods
We accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover, American Express and debit cards (check cards). We cannot process cards that are issued outside the U.S. We also accept money orders made payable to Smith-Thompson. We do not accept gift cards. Please do not send cash. Sorry, no CODs.If your credit/debit card transaction is declined by the card issuer, this will delay your order. Transactions can be declined for various reasons including over limit, address or zip code mismatch, etc. We will attempt to contact you to rectify the problem. When your order is delayed by a credit/debit card decline, Smoth-Thompson is not responsible for upgrading the shipping method to meet the customer’s delivery deadline.
Attention Debit Card Users
Even though your transaction may have been declined, your bank may put a temporary hold on the funds for a period of up to seven (7) business days. These funds are held by the bank, not Smith-Thompson. Smith-Thompson is not responsible for any overdraft or over limit fees created by processing an order on a debit/credit card.
Returns & Exchanges
If you are not satisfied with any item purchased from us, you must call to arrange for exchange, credit or refund within thirty (30) days of receipt of the product(s). We cannot process returns via e-mail.Items must be unopened and in original condition to receive a refund. Refused orders or returns without a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA#) may not be credited at the sole discretion of our Returns Department. In some cases, the Returns Department may grant only store credit. Returned items must be well packed and shipped to arrive within 14 days after the RMA# is obtained.
Late returns will not be credited. Returned items received in poor condition due to shipping damage will not be credited. Non-defective items must be in the original packaging and in resellable condition. Non-defective returns may be charged a 15% restocking fee at the sole discretion of the Returns Department. Decisions on restocking fees will not be made until the merchandise is returned.
Some items, such as undergarments, music, videos, DVDs and other items so marked in the catalog or on the web site cannot be returned if opened. Exchanges for non-defective items will be treated as a new order and will be subject to all policies contained herein, including shipping charges. If we shipped the wrong merchandise, we will gladly pay the return postage at the lowest USPS rate.
Product & Price Guarantee
We reserve the right to increase or decrease prices and shipping charges without notice. All prices and policies in the current catalog supersede previous catalogs. Descriptive and typographic errors are subject to correction.In the event a manufacturer changes a product during the life of this catalog, you may return the unopened item for a full refund if you are not satisfied with the product when it arrives. An RMA# must be requested within 10 days of receipt. Original shipping charges will not be refunded.
Warranty

Back Orders, Out-of-Stocks & Substitutions
In order to keep our shipping rates low, all shipping rates are based on one shipment per order. Back orders delay your entire order until the item(s) are available. Placing back ordered items on a separate order will expedite in-stock items.While we attempt to keep all products in stock, an item may be temporarily out-of-stock or it may be unexpectedly discontinued or delayed by the manufacturer. If an item is delayed more than 60 days beyond our original expected delivery date, we will contact you to advise you of your options. When your order is placed by mail, fax, or online, we may make a substitution if the item you ordered is no longer available. All substitutions will be as close to the product you ordered as possible. You may always return substituted items for exchange or refund within ten (10) days of receipt.
If you specify no substitutions on your order form or no substitution is available, the discontinued item(s) will show out-of-stock on your order. If you paid by money order, a credit will remain on account toward your next order or you may request a refund. When reordering out-of-stock items, your order will be treated as a new order and will be subject to all policies contained herein, including shipping charges.

The free item(s) will appear at the bottom of your shopping cart. The more you order, the more items you will have to choose from. This offer is limited to one free gift per order. In the event that an item is not automatically added, we will select the highest value gift available to that order and include it in the shipment.
Address Corrections
Please check the accuracy of address information on your order. If an address correction is made en route, this can delay the delivery of your order by several days, may make the package undeliverable or may incur additional shipping charges. Other delays may be caused by address and zip code mismatches.The billing address you provide must be the address on file with your credit/debit card issuer. Incorrect address or zip code information nullifies any guaranteed delivery date.
Mailing Lists & Your Privacy
Smith-Thompson does not share its mailing list with any other companies or mailing list services. All information received from our customers is held in strictest confidence. Smith-Thompson may send promotional emails to keep you updated with sale and other information. We may also use email to contact you concerning your order. Package tracking infomation will be provided by UPS via email after we ship your order (if you chose UPS as the preferred shipping method and provided and email address).
Sales Taxes
Smith-Thompson is required to collect sales taxes on any order we ship to a Virginia address. For those orders only, can we offer a "Sales Tax Holiday". For orders purchased by out-of-state residents and shipped to another state, we do not collect sales tax, thus, we do not offer a Sales Tax Holiday for those purchases. Smith-Thompson does not assume any liability for penalties or interest levied outside of Virginia for non-payment of sales tax, or hold any individual harmless from their sales tax obligations. We reserve the right to end this sales tax holiday at any time without notice.All policies are subject to change without notice.
